Privacy Policy
Last updated
This policy is demo content for the fictional Marram House. Replace it with a policy that describes what your own site and hotel actually do.
What we collect
When you ask to book a room, enquire about an event, send a message, pay a deposit or buy a gift voucher, we keep your name, email, phone number, your dates and what you told us, so we can look after your stay. Payments go through Stripe; we never see your card details.
When you stay
We keep a record of your stay (your dates, your room, what you’d like us to remember, such as an allergy or a favourite room) for six years, as the law asks of us for accounts. We never share it with anyone else.
Letters from the cove
If you sign up for our letters, we keep your email address to send them, four times a year. Every email has a link to unsubscribe.
Returning guests
If you create an account to read the guides for returning guests, the sign-in is handled by Clerk. We see your name and email address and nothing else.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to count visits. If Google Analytics is used too, it runs only after you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you: write to stay@marramhouse.example.
